Water Aid river of coins

There was a river running through the school recently and it brought a flood of 1p and 2p coins with it.  The river of coins ran all around the school and when they were finally collected and counted the children had raised £672 for Water Aid. The fund raising event was organised by Miss. Wilberforce and all our children and staff added coins to the ‘river’ that flowed along the corridors and staircases making an impressive sight.  Water Aid is an international charity.  Their mission is to overcome poverty by enabling the world's poorest people to gain access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene education.   Thank you to everyone who contributed to the river of coins.
