Meath Green Junior School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

War veterans are interviewed by year 6 pupils - 10 November 2012

As part of the pupils’ year 6 class work our children visited the local Live at Home centre. There they interviewed people who had lived during WW2 and some who had fought in the war.

This cross-generation interaction is something both the school and the Live At Home organisation promote. It helps with communication and understanding by the different generations as well as cementing strong community ties.
