Victorian Day for year 4 - 03 December 2007

Year 4 recently found out what it was like to be at school during Victorian times. They dressed up in Victorian clothes of the times and took part in some typical lessons that were taught in Victorian schools. They also went on a walk around Horley to explore some of the towns Victorian buildings and history; did you know that the Collingwood Batchelor department store used to be a soap factory? The day was a great success and all the children learnt many things about an important part of our countries history.
