Tri-Golf Day February 2007 - 12 February 2007

Tri-Golf Day is an initiative by the Redhill Golf Centre to bring free golf lessons to children in school. They have a target to bring the game of golf to 2000 children in six weeks and are well on the way to meeting this. Steve Furlong, manager of the Golf Centre, led a team of dedicated staff who are giving their time free of charge and they included the Golf Centre Professional, Martin Chalcraft and assistants, Mary McDeirmid and James Barker. They gave instruction to the children during the day and were met with great enthusiasm by everyone.  Steve and his team are also considering starting a lunch-time or after school club at Meath Green Junior.
