Harlequin performance for family and friends - 15 March 20
On 13th March, 90 enthusiastic children from Year 5 at Meath Green Junior School performed at the Harlequin Theatre, Redhill. They performed a concert to a packed audience of 400 family and friends.
The songs they sang were inspired by the 'Young Voices organisation' which aims to get children into music and dancing. Favourite tracks included Let it be (with lots of arm waving) a tap dancing extravaganza 'All for the best' and a very convincing Olly Murs and Lady Gaga hits based 'Pop Medley'.
The hour long show also featured a number of short sketches performed by the children. Miss Wilberforce, the organiser said, “I'm amazed by how the children have put together such a professional looking show. They were able to perform independently on stage without a glitch. The reaction from the audience between each song was absolutely incredible.”
