Co-opted Governor

Why did I want to become a governor?  Our son has just moved on from Meath Green Junior school. Having seen the impact Meath Green School had on my son's development and wellbeing during his 4 years and, in addition, how the school managed new challenges, supporting all families (especially those in need during Lockdown). I wanted to commit my time to help to continue to drive the school forward and support them to allow every child to have an experience they deserve and enable them to grow during their time at Meath Green Junior School.

I feel it's really important to me to volunteer and give back to the local community, however busy we are. I have spent the last 4 years volunteering and I'm also a Committee member for one of our local Scouting groups where I also manage their website.

In my professional career, I spent almost 20 years visiting Schools, Colleges, Universities, and LEA’s across the UK consulting on IT Networking solutions, Audio Visual, and Internet Safeguarding software. During those years I collaborated with bursars and the senior management teams at each educational establishment. More recently I have worked with Education Apps and now I am a Partner Manager for a US Marketing Automation software company.

In any spare time I get, I love to be by the Sea with the family.
