Performance Information

 2016 SATs

In 2016 new Key Stage 2 testing arrangements were introduced. These were implemented to cater for 2014 National Curriculum. This has significantly higher expectations of primary school aged pupils. The pupils who took the tests in May 2016 had only two years of being taught the revised curriculum with these higher standards.

Average Scaled Score:

In the 2016 SATs, pupils’ test results were translated into a scaled score to ensure consistency of results across the country. A child achieving a scaled score of 100 is said to be working at the expected standard for the end of year 6.
